• Arrowwood Viburnum (Viburnum dentatum)

  A native to the eastern United States, the Arrowhead Viburnum can grow between 180 cm to 300 cm with dense and upright growth and a rounded form.  Its white flowers don’t produce any fragrance and its fruit colour can turn from dark blue to black.

• European Cranberry Bush (Viburnum opulus)

  The European Cranberry Bush, also known as the Snowball Bush, is considered an invasive plant in the United States. It has red berry-like fruits that are edible that taste bitter when picked fresh. Its flowers resemble hydrangeas. This Viburnum type grows from 300 cm to 365 cm.

• Korean Spice Viburnum (Viburnum carlessi)

  Korean Spice originates in Korea that has a spiced scent. It has dark red buds that bloom in early spring into light pink flowers until it turns white. It has red berries that turn black. It grows tall between 121 cm to 182 cm and its spread reaches 120 cm to 213 cm.

• Wayfaring tree (Viburnum lantana)

  The Wayfaring tree is native to Europe, North Africa and Western Asia and is considered invasive in some parts of the U.S. It’s a mid-sized shrub that grows laterally and round with upright branches that spreads 213 cm to 305 cm wide and 305 cm to 457 cm high.

• Leatherleaf Viburnum (Viburnum rhytidophyllum)

  The Leatherleaf Viburnum has textured, leatherlike foliage and can adapt to acidic or alkaline pH soils. It has fragrant white flowers with yellow anthers that bloom in spring. It can grow between 182 cm to 457 cm tall.
  

• Nannyberry (Viburnum lentago)

  The Nannyberry has edible dark blue berries made into jams and jellies. It typically grows between 427 cm to 487 cm tall and 183 cm to 365 cm at maturity. It has white flowers with prominent anthers while its leaves can be multi-coloured that can change from shades of red to yellow or purple.

• Burkood Viburnum (Viburnum x burkwodii)

  Burkwood Viburnum has a multi-stemmed and dense growth that can reach between 240 cm to 305 cm. A native in Asia, it has a fragrant clove-like scent with balled flower clusters with red and yellow lines in its veins. 

• Mapleleaf Viburnum (Viburnum acerifolium)

  Mapleleaf Viburnum is a native of the U.S. It naturally grows in hillsides, upland forests and woodlands. It has maple-shaped foliage with a loose branching habit. It can grow from 91 cm to 182 cm. Its small white flowers bloom in late spring to late summer. 

• Laurustinus Viburnum (Viburnum tinus)

  Viburnum tinus is a native plant in the Mediterranean and northern Africa. It has clusters of pink buds that bloom into pretty white flowers in winter and spring. Its height reaches 183 cm to 365 cm and 150 cm to 305 cm wide.
