Watermelon Baby Red needs space to grow, a sunny spot with at least six hours of sun a day and plenty of moisture, rich soil and a warm, frost-free climate. At first your Watermelon plant will need lots of water, but once fruit starts to mature it will need less water. When flowering starts, give plants a feed with citrus food (for eg our Fruit & Veggie Fertiliser), and keep on feeding every four weeks. You should also Mulch the ground around plants to retain soil moisture.

Harvest in mid to late summer. Enjoy your fruit straight up, or perfect for refreshing summer smoothies and fruit salads!
