COMMON NAME: VITIS VINIFERA, RED GLOBE, TABLE GRAPE
Pot Size: 12cm / 5″ / 120mm
A very large red variety of table grape maturing mid-season. Grape vines will thrive in most soils. In cool areas it is advisable to plant only early and mid-season maturing varieties as to ensure ripening.
For best results: In Spring select and prune to one new growth rod which will become the main stem. In summer prune regularly until desired height is reached, before training side shoots onto a support. Ensure even soil moisture, particularly up until flowering occurs. Avoid overhead watering which encourages fungal disease. You can spray with Bordeux or Kocide against mildew.
