CARE AND GROWTH:
Nandina Moon Bay will thrive in a full sun to part shade position. Adequate sunlight in important to ensure it maintains its vibrant foliage colours. Water regularly after planting for the first twelve weeks as this is the plants establishment period. After this, they will become more drought tolerant. Note: On extremely hot or windy days, increase watering to avoid the plant drying out.
Nandina Moon bay can tolerate most soil types but as with most plants, a well-draining soil works best! Fertilise in Spring with slow-release fertiliser and optionally, add a layer of mulch around the plants. Nandina Moon Bay naturally grows in a neat, upright clump so pruning is rarely required, making it a very low maintenance option.
