Kalanchoe Silver Spoon is a hardy succulent with silver/grey, curved leaves that resemble small spoons. In spring, flower spikes appear with red and orange blooms. Perfect low-maintenance option for adding a subtle touch of colour to any space.
CARE AND GROWTH:
Kalanchoe Silver Spoon will thrive in a full or partial sun position. To keep its vibrant colour and growth rate, ensure it receives plenty of sun. Plant in a well-draining soil and allow it to dry out completely in between waterings. A cactus or succulent mix would be ideal, but you can also add some perlite to help improve drainage. Overwatering can lead to root rot so water around once or twice a week in the warmer months and reduce this to once or twice a month during winter.
Prune occasionally to maintain a full, compact shape and fertilise in Spring with a slow-release fertiliser. Kalanchoe Silver Spoon can reach a height of approximately 1 metre, but you can trim it to keep it at any desired height.
