The Dipladenia Scarlet is a vigorous shrub grows to 1 metre high if pruned to shape, if left unpruned it becomes a climber. It bears beautiful deep red flowers throughout the year.

Dipladenia Scarlet will do well as a feature plant in sunny positions on patios, balconies, around pools or as a hanging basket.

In warmer districts of Australia heavy flowering is continuous from September till June with some flowers even in July and August. In cooler areas protection from frost is essential. In these areas it flowers from November to March. It is best to plant in a well drained sunny position or well
