Crassula Max Cook is a compact growing succulent with rippled green leaves that develop thin, red edges. It is a hardy, clumping plant that is extremely popular in landscape design! White, star-shaped flowers appear in late Spring and early Summer.
CARE AND GROWTH:
Crassula Max Cook can tolerate semi shade but does prefer a position in full sun. As with all succulents, it is essential to ensure you are planting in a well-draining soil. Overwatering can lead to root rot. Water once a week in Spring and Summer and reduce frequency to around once or twice a month during its dormant season (Winter). Succulents are great at letting you know when they need a drink. If leaves appear wrinkled or deflated, its time for a good water!
The beauty of Crassula Max Cook is you get a relatively low maintenance plant with beautiful foliage colours and a naturally compact growing habit. Occasional pruning will also help to maintain its size and shape as well as encouraging new growth. Prune and fertilise in the warmer months.
