This wonderful New Zealand bred cordyline is as unique as they come. Bred for its compact basal clumping habit it does not grow with a stem, yet it is more like a ground cover when compared to other cordylines.

Normally they grow up on a stem but the Cordyline Red Chocolate stays nice and compact. It is used quite commonly in landscaping for its nice foliage. It is architectural and has a lovely colouring. It looks great all year round and is a very hardy plant which will grow anywhere.
