COMMON NAME:
Pot Size: 17cm / (7″) / 175mm
This lush tropical plant has a nice range of multi coloured flower heads which are known to resemble a spear or sword. Bromeliads in general are a varied group of plants that can adapt to a number of climates. The foliage typically grows in a rosette shape and flowers can range from a number of colours and spotted patterns including red, yellow, white, purple and green.
Some bromeliads have a faint scent while others are heavily perfumed. They are frost tender and require lots of water during dry periods. Bromeliads are perfect when grown in pots; they make for great feature plants and work well indoors with filtered light.
If you live outside of Sydney, please enquire first before purchasing this plant. We only supply smaller plants (15cm pot size or smaller) outside of Sydney, but if the quantity purchase is large enough we can price you on the freight. Thank you for your understanding.
