A creeping evergreen perennial which spreads rapidly by stolons with partly hairy stems. Produces dark green leaves up to 9cm long and dark blue flowers from late spring to early summer. It is a spreading ground cover that grows in a dense mat. This plant is often used as medicinal and as an ornamental plant.
