The Red Tip is a large evergreen shrub with a dense growth habit. The leaves are small, green and glossy with red-bronze new growth. During spring and summer it produces creamy white, fluffy flowers followed by purple berries. It is one of the Lilly Pilly varieties that are resistant to psyllids, along with the Syzygium luehmannii. It prefers full sun in moist, well-drained soil.
